1. Who you are contracting with

Manuscripta AI ("the Service") is operated by Platinum Edu-Tech Consult Nigeria Limited ("we", "us", "the Seller"), registered at 84 Gandu GRA, Atiku Abubakar Road, Kano, Nigeria. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm you are of legal age or have authority to bind your organization.

2. The Service

Manuscripta AI is a journal intelligence and publication platform: manuscript drafting and submission, editorial triage, reviewer matching and review workflows, decision correspondence, certificates, and optional AI-assisted Compliance, Integrity and Quality Pre-submission Checks (CIQPC). Core human workflows are free; AI-assisted features consume prepaid AI credits.

3. Payments and AI credits

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Credits are prepaid, do not expire while your account is active, and are only consumed by AI features. For payments made by direct bank transfer, credits are added after we confirm your transfer evidence.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

• Unlawful use, fraud, or spam
• Infringing intellectual-property rights of others
• Interfering with security — introducing malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing technical limits
• Reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the Service

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information.

5. AI-generated content

AI outputs (CIQPC analyses, reviewer suggestions, drafted letters, originality and AI-detection indicators) are advisory only and may be inaccurate. They are not proof of misconduct and are not a substitute for editorial judgment or regulated professional advice. You are responsible for your inputs, for having rights to the content you submit, for how you use outputs, and for verifying their accuracy. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms. Rights holders may report infringement to platinumedutechconsult@gmail.com; repeat infringers may be suspended.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service, its software, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of manuscripts and content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

7. Service level and warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

10. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.
